Red Drum Tackle fishing report Buxton 9-2
We went fishing on this pretty Thursday!
Kara and I and Jr started off on Cape Point. The water was drummy but a little roiled and rough for boogy boarding so we went down the beach a ways and went shelling. Best ever. You could honestly fill up a pick up with all of the conchs and whelks. Big cockles and olive shells every where. Bobby found the find of the day which was only my second one ever.
The boys then found a butterscotch-colored Scotch Bonnet! They were exploring and found it in a tidal pool on Ramp 45. When they came back, I had already caught 3 Sea Mullet. Kept on catching, one of which was 1 and a half pounds! All on bloodworms. Couple of good sized Spot too! It was a good break from drying out. Kept on seeing fish busting water about half-mile out. Bob felt like they were False Albacore.
Thank You for your thoughts and prayers, we appreciate the support!
Take care and Thank You,
Bob, Kara and Bobby Eakes
