Sunday Fishing report By Zach
Its been a real good day with a good number of fish reported. Lots of blow toads i have heard of at ramp 45 with a few sea mullets mixed in. Some real good news is the warm water is here. we have 60plus degree water from the point south. get your drum rods ready cause there is gonna be a bite real soon. lots of south winds in the forecast. get on down here and catch em up.

Monday's Report
What a beautiful, but breezy day here on Hatteras Island. Not many folks trying their luck today. The wind may be the reason! Got a call from guys fishing Hatteras, wondering if it was just as windy here in Buxton. Yep, it is. They didn't see or catch anything. I'm thinking it should bust loose SOON!!! Wishful thinking Wish I had more to report, but it is what it is...... It is good to be back

Tuesday's Report
Welp, not much of a fishing report to speak of. How 'bout a weather report??? It was quite a storm that passed through today. We had a nice downpour followed by cooler air temps. The outlook for Thurs- the weekend looks good. My guess is we'll see a few drum caught by the end of the weekend. Lots of SW winds will give them the nudge we need!!!

Wednesday Mid Morning Report
Well, looks like the water temps have finally made it. Had two customers in a minute ago who were on the north jetty and catching bluefish every cast. The blues were 18 inches or so and I am glad to see them.

Take a look at Rutgers and you can see the drum all over the place.

I've got the BLUES.......
I bet you can't guesss what has been caught today.....Blues! There's blues from the motels, to the jetties, to the south beach. Started off on shrimp, then metal was used also. Talked to a guy that caught 2 puppies in Ocracoke. So, things are starting to heat up We've got fresh mullet and bunker. The rest of the week looks just delightful, so come on do
