Red Drum with Extreme Measures w/pics

While on vacation last week I chartered a trip with my brother and two sons to fish for some big old drum with Capt. Brian Harrington of Extreme Measures. Our first stop produced 16 puppies with 5 nice ones going in the box. After that we picked at some more puppies and landed a really nice trout. Later in the afternoon we settled in for the big boys. After 3 false bites that turned out to be stingrays we hooked up with a nice 30+. After a few pics we released it and got set back up. We didn't get another bite till just before dark and my oldest got to reel in a nice 50+ but just as Capt. Brian grabbed the leader the fish rolled and pulled the hook. We didn't get anothe bite so we packed up and headed home with 5 nice pups and a good trout for supper. Thanks to Capt. Brian for putting us on some nice fish. He is the man when it comes to these big fish, we just hit it early but in a few weeks they should in full swing. here are some pics from our trip.

Pretty work there Boyce. I was out there as well on Friday afternoon late into the early evening. A little bit early but Brian has a way with the fish. They should be there in full on drum mode in the near future.

good times with the boys and Capt. Brian, don't get much better than that. Those memories will last forever.
