[Fishing Report]

Although we caugh enough to enjoy some good meals, the last couple of days have not produced very many fish for us. There have been some good catches among the fleet but it appears to be feast of famine. If your are the first boat to pass over a school, you will get multiple bites, but after that, the fish seem to get skittish. We hope to be luckier tomorrow. Thanks for checking in. The Mako pictured below was a 90 pounder.


11-22-11 found some tuna
We took a track to the NE up to the triple zero's and found some yellowfin tuna. The fishfinder lit up with marks several times....not always getting a bite, but our crew was pretty happy with the catch and the calm seas. Hopefully these fish will be moving closer to Oregon Inlet. Thanks to Christian, Jessica, Tripp, and Steve for fishing aboard Point Runner today.
