i was wonderin if anyone could tell me if u need a beach permite to drive out to the point in buxton.last time i was down there you didnt need one but there was talk about it. i am headin down in a few days and i dont wana get down there and run into any suprizes

You do not need a permit, Now anyways. You will probably want to check out which beaches are closed for birds or turtles or whatever. Probably check Frank and Frans on your way down for updates on closures.

I think you need a permit to drive the beach at night after a certain time...10 maybe. Form is a free download on CHNS website. F&F's or any of the tackle shops probably have them printed out as well.
