Offshore boats caught lots of dolphin, some nice fat yellowfin tunas, blackfin tunas and bill fish (white marlin and sailfishs. All around a good day. Inshore boat caught lots of tailor bluefish and false albacores. Both bluefish and false albacore are fun on the line. Open boats caught speckled trout including one that was 22 inches in length good to see speckled trout being caught a favorite fish for many people. An allday bottom fishing trip caught triggerfish and a 38 pound barracuda

Good fishing all around today! We had good speckled trout fishing for the inshore fleet today with a few stray sharks and a 6 pound sea bass. Nearshore there were good catches of bluefish and spanish mackerel. There were a few cobias caught by some of our afternoon nearshore fleet and a couple of shasrks as well. The offshore fleet reported quite a few release white marlins and a couple of release blue marlins. Yellowfin tuna and dolphin were brought in to the dock by the offshore fleet. Along with the release citations for white and blue marlin there were 3 for sailfish one of which was caught by six year old Joshua Folds of Bristow Virginia.

A variety of catches everywhere, inshore, offshore and open boats. Some limits of dolphin, some dolphin and yellowfin tuna, some dolphin blackfin tuna and yellowfin tuna. A fair show of white marlin a few sailfish, one boat released seven white marlin. A 52 pound wahoo was caught. There were some flounders caught by one of the inshore boats while they also caught a lot of tailor bluefish.One inshore boat bottom fished. They caught some very nice black sea bass and a ling cod. Speckled trout fishing has picked up. The open boats that target them have done well, one caught 20 releasing a part of the catch. One boat going after sharks caught several and some dolphin. Miss Oregon Inlet had a good morning on a variety of fish including flounders and sea mullet, In the afternoon the flounder fishing was good and several other types of fish were caught.
