Left the dock at 5:30am and headed to the 500 line just north of the Rise. On this charter I had Kevin and Don two avid fishermen from New Jersey. They were a lot of help in the pit and on this day I needed all the help I could get. As soon as we put out the first line we had a dolphin and we stayed busy the entire day. We ended up with 18 nice dolphin and two wahoo. We lost the biggest dolphin 25 yards from the boat when the line broke. We had several bite offs and knock downs not to mention all the fish we caught. Needless to say that the fish were there and hungry. Best day of the year so far and hopefully this is the break we need for the fishing to really turn on. Kevin and Don had a great time and experience and is now hooked on North Carolina fishing. Hopefully everyone will get out this weekend and do well.
