"Skinny Water" | Get Busy | 01/08/12

Captains Brandon Sauls and Kyle Hughes took advantage of today's great weather to once again go on a fishn' mission in the backwaters of the S. Brunswick Islands. Brandon said he saw the most fish he'd seen in a while. If you can't afford to run off shore, the in shore bite is red hot.

"Somewhere N the Rocks" | Tiberias - 22' | 01/08/12

Gary Sheaff and his son stopped in yesterday to fuel up the boat. They were headed for the jetties even though reports showed slow action. The weather was gorgeous and who could pass up such a great day to be on the water! Gary called me back at the store within minutes of leaving, reporting that the bite was great. First three cast of the day produced a nice red and a beautiful trout. After ending a great day of fishing he sent us these fine pictures!

The fish are still hanging around. I fished Thursday afternoon spotting several redfish, but could only get three rat reds to bite. Fished Friday morning, again spotting several fish, reds, trout, and even black drum sunning themselves on the flats. Needless to say, I could not get them to buy anything I was selling. I will be back at it tomorrow regardless the weather. It is going to be tough to see fish with cloud cover and rain, but I know where some should be hanging out. See ya on the water!

"Beautiful Day" | Get Busy | 01/07/12

Kevin Sneed took advantage of a great Brunswick County day and slayed the trout. Kevin said the bite wasn't as hot today as yesterday. Meanwhile Bonecrusher Sauls and Marky-Mark hit the skinnies and got into the red drum. Come on down and enjoy our winter (?).

Not to stir up any trouble, but I think Kevin has got the Bonecrusher's milk when it comes to trout fishing. Just sayn'.
