Nov.1st Deep Drop on the "Marauder"

We headed offshore with one of my regular groups this morning for some Deep drop fishing. I headed to a place that I haven't fished all year and it was a good choice.

First drop and we were on them, a good mix of Tilefish and Sea Bass with a couple of the Tiles making the citation weight limit of ten or more pounds.

We banged out a nice limit of Tiles and a great catch of Sea Bass in a short period of time and decided to put out the trolling gear to see if we could catch a couple of Tuna.
Before we got all the lines out we hooked three and held on to two of them. Over the next couple of hours we managed two more bites and held on to one of them.

It was a great day offshore for us with a full box of fish and tired anglers.

This type of fishing will be available all the way through the end of the year and it's a good time to fill the freezer for the winter with some good eating fish.

I have some openings through out the rest of November if anyone wants to get in on some of this great action.

We head north to Va.Beach the first of December for the winter Striper season and we will be back at Pirates Cove around the first of March to resume our Spring and Summer season.

How deep are you dropping?

Hey Sea,
usually between 260 to 300 feet but it really depends a lot on what location I am fishing.

Wish the wind would stop blowing so we could go again.
