What a nice day, view the photos outside the office windows. Excellent fishing to go with the weather. Limits of Yellowfin Tuna as well as a few Blackfin Tuna. Sure sounds tasty

Outer Banks Fishing Report 12-16
Posted on December 16, 2011
Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:
Today started off sunny and warm with light west winds and the temperatures were in the low 60′s. This afternoon the winds switched to the north and picked up to 15 mph and the temperatures dropped to the low 50′s. Slow fishing today from the surf. Some scattered speckled trout were caught on the south beach and the jetties in Buxton. Offshore fishing was excellent again today. Lots of black fin tuna, some nice citation wahoos and a few king mackerel were caught.

Hi All,
It has been SLOW....
A few small trout on the south side of the island and some sharks and skates.
I have herd rumor of a few stripers on the north side of Oregon Inlet, but no confirmation.
Hope to have some fish by the x mas holiday, but we just need something to stir things up....
There have been some nice stripers caught on the north side of the of the bridge tunnel (kiptopeke) on the sholes and around the bridge on live eel's.
Good luck!
