North carolina Fishing reports 1-13
Fishing Report 1/8
Mostly sunny this morning, then overcast, then snowing and blowing and then sunny again. Winds were from the west 5-10 mph and highs in the low 40's. The only fishing Report I have today is potently a good sign of some striper's showing up in larger numbers. Two striper's were broke off in the wash at ramp 43 on light tackle. The Oregon Inlet fleet had excellent striper fishing again and the fish were moving a little further south near Rondathe. No boats out today at Hatteras.
Fishing Report 1/11
The warmest day in awhile. Partly sunny, some rain and then sunny again. Highs were around 51 and light north east winds 5-10 mph. I cant say I have any fish to report. Nothing down here on the southern end of the Island. No boats out today.

01-07-11 stripers near the inlet
We did not have to travel very far to catch'm today. Just east of the inlet we found really good action once they started snapping around noon. Congratulations to the crew aboard the POACHER out of OIFC who landed a pending state record 64 pounder!

Yesterday's Stripers! / Posted by: Kenneth Brown / 01/08/11
More great stiper action yesterday. We had to have a little patience in the morning but the bite turned on about mid day and it was worth the wait. Caught our limit quick with multiples on every line. We spent a little while releasing some fish and enjoying the fast action. Hope everone enjoyed the fishing and gets to enjoy some good eating. Thanks!
We missed a good morning today. Looks like the wind is suppose to breeze up but it should stay out of the west. Remember a west wind blows off the beach and usually very fishable. Let us know if you are ready to go. Thanks!

Monday fishing report by Dan
Another day of Al Gore Warming, temp 35, bitter wind chill, and no fish reported. Water temp on the south beach up to 46-48 degrees. If we could get a break on the weather maybe some fishermen could find some fish

Wake me up when the fish start biting!!!
Today is probably the warmest day we'll have this week. It's suppose to stay clear the rest of the week, through the weekend. There is a small craft advisory through Fri, I think. Anyway nice weather, just need some fish. This time of year, you just have to be in the right spot at the right time. Wish I could tell you the exact spot.
I have not had any catching reports today. There are a few guys out trying, but as of yet, No Luck!!

Fishing Report 1/12
Pretty windy and real cold. West winds 15-25 mph and highs around 39. No fish to report from anywhere. No boats out today. As of January the 14 all spotted sea trout are unlawful to posses for a limited time due to the stunned fish that may have a chance to revive with warmer water.
