Saturday, November 13, 2010 - 1:03 pm:
The winds are calming down but the sea state is still up. However, the hook has seen puppy drum this morning. Down in Frisco there have been reports of speckled trout.
Ever since Hwy 12 reopened last night around 6pm, it has remained open all through the night and into today. So hopefully this system is calming down.

Fishing Report 11/13
The wind has died down and hwy 12 is open again but the seas are still rough. There were few reports from the beach but a few small puppy drum and some black sea bass were reported on the sound side. The conditions were pretty bad and the fishing was slow in general.
None of the boats could get out.

Saturday Fishing Report
Lots of small Puppy Drum at the Point today with a few big enough to keep.
Bluefish showed up on the south side this afternoon and that's always a good sign. On South Beach there were some Sea Mullet caught along with short Flounder. JT let us know that a couple hundred yards of that finger that has formed on the Point is no longer there and that shallow shoal area
on the south side is no longer shallow and that's good news.

No reports from inshore or offshsore trips today but charters should resume tomorrow. Conditions look pretty good for the next several days. Lastly, two very good fisherman were dumped today by those surprise waves so be careful on that Point - Grumpy.

No boats out inshore or offshore. Not much fishing to report. a couple of puppy drum around manteo bridge and blacks and puppys around the catwalk but more scattered than its been. water is a little more muddy than it has been inside the inlet as well. things should start getting back to normal in the next few days.
