    North Carolina fishing report 9-1

    FISHING REPORT 8-30-11
    Affie

We are recovering from Hurricane Irene but our charters will be going out of alternate locations. Two charters went out today. The ocean was still churned up and fishing was hard. We did have 3 white marlin caught and released. More news as we get it.

The key to getting the fish to start to biting is to get the water color right. Its a little messy following storm, but nearly as bad as some of previous storms. The inside waters are somewhat muddy, but canals full of bait. Water should be getting better and better on every tide and with amount of bait in water, bite should kick off soon with a vengence. Offshore, water still milky which is not good, however with a northeast breeze, that wind direction very favorable to clear water up quicker. We have a charter out 20+ miles today so should have a good report this evening.
