The bite is hot we fished the OBKMT this weekend and place 6Th now as you know the weather was not to kind.The wind was blowing all day but the rain stayed away.We started out running the beach looking bait witch was not hard to find even in the dark.Once we got what we needed about 4doz 10in shad we hit the spot 35ft had a nice 20 pound king sky on the 1st bait out after about 3min he hit the deck.Put a double out and she is on Rick is on the rod she takes about 250yards on her 1st run now fighting a king in a 20 kts wind 3ft every 3sec is not the funnest things to do.After 20min she comes to the top she is a nice fish 35+just as im reaching out to stick her the hooks pull well we put the lines out and have one hell of a bite for the rest of the day we killed 9 and the $ fish was 27.44 in all it was a great day of catching 20 kings............And its only going to get better........Live baiting kings this time of year is as good as it get.BOOKING LIVE BAIT TRIPS.
I fished the same location yesterday, no bites one or two fish caught, the water color was a little dirty. I would expect it to fire back off when this wind falls out tomorrow afternoon
