Tough tides and tougher weather have made fishing kind of, oh I don't know, tough. At least that's what I'm hearing from good sources. The Redfish "bite" isn't anything to get to excited about, and the only fish that there seems to be plenty of are the Dogfish, aka Gummy Sharks." There are some small Sheepshead in and around docks and pilings and a few small blues and whiting from time to time, but overall, the inshore bite is kind 'a lame. Hopefully things get better in the coming weeks. As soon as fishing improves, I will "splash" the boat and the Mighty Mako will once again be hooking-up clients and keeping them busy and entertained.
