Little River SC REPORT

Tuesday mornin myself, PANTY SNATCHER and HUMDINGER left the jetties at 4AM, sitting on the Black Jack at 6:30AM, everything looked awesome, flying fish everywhere, water looked great, just knew the bite would be on. Terrafin and Hiltons said they should be there. We were ready!! No Bite! Finally at 10:30AM a dark form takes a swipe at the spreader bar, turns and then lites up like the scoreboard at the Clemson/Carolina Game. Screaming, I holler atPANTY SNATCHER to take the Chain away from him. He takes hold while HUMDINGER drops the flat line rigged with the Blu/white islander Flasher back to him.

SHOWER DOWN, a fine Sailfish leaps just behind the outboards and starts taking line. After a few minutes of wrastlin back and forth we get him boatside and take a few minutes to get him feeling better. I look around for a camera and realize I'd left it in the truck, OH WELL! Nice Fish though, at least 72 inchs. Let em go and we are ready for another bite. The bite never came. That ended up being the only bite all day! Two other boats within sight boated a couple blackfin tunnys and a couple of kings with at least one small Hoo in the mix. Returned home licking our chops in a 3 ft head sea stacked up like Pamela Andersons wood pile. Been nursing a sore arse all day from it anyway, maybe next time.
