Wow absolutely disgusting, Great article Mr Weeks. I can't stomach the politics of Fishery management. It goes on all the time. No wonder the eco terrorists want all fishing to stop. It's deplorable human beings such as these that will harvest every last fish they can get their money grubbing hands on. Criminals and the council persons whom allowed this to happen should be removed form their position. Charges should be pressed against those involved. Collusion to comit a crime against the recreational fishermen of NC. I thought wasting a resource was against the law. Oh man my bloods boiling I'm so sick of how scumbags in this country manipulate the law for their own benefit.

We have to keep fighting this stupid and deadly decision the MFC made last week. We need to press the new Republican House and Senate Leadership. These stupid decisions are ones that they ran on. We also need to keep pressing Senators Kay Hagan and Richard Burr as well as Rep. Walter Jones on removing the 3 mile limit and continue the fight for beach driving and surffishing on Hatteras Island. Let's not take this fight lying down.
