Today was a fun fishing day with my good friend John Jamison (featured).
We were fishing a spot that he brought me to almost exactly a year ago in November
and I had an incredible day on the fly! The fish John catches in the video was his first cast
and what a nice fish to start with! We went on taking turns using spin and fly and caught at
least 3 fish each in just over an hours time. Nothing beats sight fishing to redfish when the
water is clear. I love this time of the year! Check out the video from a year ago at the same

Tarpon in November? Yep! Things have slowed down with business the past week for everyone
on the Island. It's that time of the year but it's nice to get a break and fish for fun with family
and friends and go look for some new spots to fish. I ran a few trips this week and my clients
caught good numbers of the smaller slot size redfish, trout and flounder. The pic above is from
this morning of nice little pond tarpon that hit a jig on the 2nd cast! Fun!
