head boat

Any recommendations for head boats close to Holden Beach? I know there are a couple out of Calabash, are there any closer or better than them? Looking for a full 12+ hour day/gulfstream.

Don't know of any out of Holdens. Lyndon Carter(member here) might know. I know there is one at Bluewater point on Oak island and one in Southport.

i don't think there are any closer then calabash ( south), You next bet is wrightsville beach (north). there is a Captain that runs open boat bottom trips for groupers and snapper. 30 to 40 mile range. Does quite well i see. search ..Swell Rider Sportfishing.. Capt Ken Mullen

Call Danny Juell on the Fish Screamer out of Little River. About a 20 minute drive from Holdens. Ex commercial fisherman and can put you guys on the bottom fish or take you offshore.
