fishing in Hanna
The "Little Hatteras" Tournament had 82 registered teams and due to the approaching tropical storm was shortened from a four session/ two day format to a one session "free for all" because the Park Service was closing the beach at noon on the tournament's first day. Fishing was allowed from 6:30 to 11:00, with no beach access prior to 6:00 am.
We could not hold with 8 ounces but did manage to catch a few fish in the pouring rain and howling winds, including this nice puppy drum. Sorry for the poor photo, but it was in the middle of a downpour and taken with a cell phone. We eked out a 3rd place finish... Last edited by esangler; 09-09-2008 at 02:36 PM. |
