    NC Hatteras Offshore Report 4/2805/4

Been fortunate enough to do a little fishin lately, not as much as in years past, but considering the amount of charter trips overall, we are sailing more than most.

The Conleys enjoyed a really pretty day on the water partaking in our first dose of the gaffers, a few blackfins, a king and our first blue marlin of the year, bout a 500 pound fat girl for Dr. Paul, his first. He also caught some gaffers on his 10wt.

The Conley joined us again on Thursday and caught some blackfins and dolphins, lucked into another really petty day.

The Hulse Crew fished with us on Friday and Monday and they had a pretty good time, it was kind of rough both days we did everything, jiggin, trollin even broke out the kite on monday and caught us some nicer blackfins going arial.

Saturday we had a crew from Delaware that fished with us last summer and got into the gaffers, probably the best day of gaffer dolphin fishin we have ever had on the bite me, that was last summer. This year their luck continued and the tunas found them catching 4 in one wack and 2 another, also caught a couple of nice gaffers before we called it an early day about noon. our adventure was not over though, as we towed a broken down boat in till the Gaurd met us and took over. Everyones kids joined us at the dock for the picture.

On Sunday, long time customers and friends George and Keith and their crew went in pursuit of tuna, these guys have had some great tuna fishin over the years and while it was a little slow for them, they scrapped out a catch of 2 blackfins, a king a dolphin and a couple wahoos. George took an awesome pic one year tuna fishin, he said he is gonna send it to me, I will post it when he does.

Fishin is really showing some signs of getting right, so give me a shout and lets get you out there, I have got lots of open weekdays in May, our best fishing month. If you don't have a full crew, we may be able to get a make up for ya, give me a shout and we will get you on the list.
