Neverending Bluefish?
Monday, September, 26, 2011 at 3:13AM
While we heard of some keeper Bass, none of them made the trip to the scale. The 1-3 lb blues were on the beaches in force again. They seem to be prefering mullet yesterday but the small metals accounted for a lot of the action. Double your fun by using a teaser on that light rod and getting these scrappy fish two at a time!
Despite getting it totally wrong two days in a row, the weather idiots are still trying to get rain to happen - Mostly cloudy in the morning...then becoming partly sunny. A 20 percent chance of showers. Patchy fog in the morning. Humid with highs in the upper 70s. Northeast winds around 5 mph... becoming southeast around 5 mph in the afternoon.
The one good thing about Mike being wrong is the joy it brings everybody else.

No wonder everyone around me is miserable (Grump especially)because as my wife says I′m always right.
I had so much fun this weekend watching Grump squirm every time a ladies t shirt went out the door at the blowout price of $3.99 I′m going to keep the sale going !!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like another good fishin day!
The rain in yesterdays forecast never happened and I expect more of the same today. We had customers that wore themselves out with the small blues. One customer fishing the local beaches came back twice for more mullet. We had three more Bass weighed in and I heard of a couple more that never made it to the scale? Want to have some fun? Get off the couch and bring your light rods and skinny metal!
The forecast for yesterday never happened so the weather idiots will try it again today - Cloudy with a 50 percent chance of showers. Humid with highs in the mid 70s. East winds 5 to 10 mph.
Mike does not have to worry about what people think of him - they dont do it very often!

Two Days Left To Fluke!!!
The Fluke season ends Sunday so get out and get em while you can. Yes, they are still getting them in the surf. Gulp and a bucktail jig is all you need. Ray Seifert weighed in a couple of nice Bass he caught during the rain yesterday (lending more support to my theory that the fish are not afraid to get wet!). The small blues are everywhere so bring that light rod and some small metal. Stick a teaser on it and get em two at a time. We continue to get Bass weighed in daily with very light beach attendance. I wonder what it would be like if a bunch of fishermen showed up?
The evil weatherman still thinks he can scare the fish with a little rain - Cloudy with isolated thunderstorms. Scattered showers. Areas of fog in the morning. Humid with highs in the mid 70s. Southwest winds around 5 mph...becoming south in the afternoon. Chance of rain 50 percent. Get the raingear - some of the best fishing is on cloudy/rainy days.
Mike certainly is not two faced - If he was, would he be wearing that one?

Ray Seifert continues his hot streak! Talked to Ray yesterday and he told me there was plenty of action down by the jetty. I usually bust grumpys chops about the saying ″no fisherman equals no fish″ but I now believe it. We had plenty of fish yesterday and hardly anyone was out there. The mullet is still pouring out of the inlet and the bass were right in them yesterday.. Tons of small blues to go along with them......Ray
