Outer Banks Fishing Report 10-19

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

Today it was raining all day. We have a cool front pushing through today and tonight. The winds were from the south-west at 15-20 mph and temperatures were in the upper 70′s. Cape Point had good drum fishing last night, early this morning and late this afternoon. Just about all of them were 30-45 inch fish. I don’t have any reports from the Frisco or Hatteras Beaches. No boats out today due to bad weather.

The sun was shining and fish were being caught. We had a south-east wind at 10-15 mph and temperatures were in the mid 70′s. Cape Point had some really good drum fishing this morning and around 12 noon. Most fish were in the 30-40 inch range. They had bluefish and a few sea mullet. The Frisco beach had some bluefish and scattered sea mullet and pompano. Down around Hatteras Inlet lots of bluefish and some puppy drum along the sound side were caught. The inshore boats had a few speckled trout and puppy drum. The offshore boats had a slower day. Some dolphin were caught, bailers and a few gaffer size and scattered catches of yellowfin tuna and wahoo.
