Outer Banks Fishing Report 1-30

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

Today started off cool and sunny. We had north-west winds at 10-15 mph, decreasing to 5 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 50′s. The report seems to be about the same almost every day from the surf. There are scattered speckled trout on the Buxton and Avon beaches and plenty of sharks and skates from Cape Point south to Hatteras Inlet. The offshore fishing has been decent when the boats are going out. Decent yellowfin tuna and real good blackfin tuna being caught. As you all may know the date in which the ORV final rule goes into effect is February 15th. Permits will be required to drive on the beach.
