Things started very slow this morning with the blues pulling a disapearing act. I think that this is the first trip since May 12 that we have not boxed at least a decent catch of those critters.I'm sure they are still around good but we just couldn't locate them today.

Anyway,after a couple of hours of searching here & there without a bite,i ran the Fish n Fool off the beach to one of the wrecks i like to fish this time of the year. One of my buddies had already picked out a few albacore so i felt like this would be our best chance to score a catch.

Jason Neal & the crew landed a few False Albacore along with a handful of spanish mackerel. We also enjoyed landing our first King Mackerel of the season.I sure hope that is the first of many,as i'd love spending my fall fishing for those guys!
