East Coast Sports Fishing Report 06-23-2010


Surf City Pier

A slow mixed bag. Some Spanish and Blues early and late. A few Spots and Mullets at night.


Sea View Pier

Slow not doing much.


Jolly Roger Pier

Blues Early and late and Spanish off and on. Spots at random. Large Puppys and some nice Sheepshead. Saw Tarpon and Sailfish.


Conclusion

Fish at night for the bottom species and Early for the Spanish.


Offshore Report 20 Miles – 200 Fathoms

Lots of Mahi offshore 20+. Sails all over the place.


NearShore Report

Still plenty of Spanish as well as Blues just off the beach (Clarkspoons and Planers) Link on How to Clarkspoons.

Aj’s and Cudas on the artificial reefs. They are eating Top Water plugs. Man funnnnnnn


Sound and Creek Report

Reds inside with Gulp Peeler Crabs but the red bite has slowed a bit. 172 bridge is eat up with Black Drum as well as some on the flats (shrimp on the bottom and an incoming tide) Black Drum around the bridges at night. Ladyfish in the current.


Surf Report

The Surf is starting to get slow during the day as the water is super hot. Lots of sharks to catch but fish at night for other stuff.
