A couple of friends and I went drum fishing in the Pamlico sound with Bryan last Wednesday. He found the fish for us in 4 different areas, including busting like tunas on the shoals. We caught one dozen fish ranging from the small (35 inches) to the large (45+ lbs). All on bait (fresh shad). Brian's intensity was unmached by any of us on the boat. His handling of these great fish was very careful and respectful. Finally, captain Bryan was, as usual, a patient guide and teacher and "one of the boys" when it was time to have fun. I go fishing with Brian as often as I can afford it and it only gets better.

He was darn proud of that brand new hat. Some lady salesperson at neuse sport must have told him he looked right studly in it! It'll be interesting to see if it ever reappears.
