Drum fishing

Had two great days fishing with my dad and son on the Pamlico sound last weekend. We released 5 citation drum between one night and one full day.

We fished the pamlico around cedar island. I love coming back to Cedar island every time. That place is a slice of heaven.

Another boat fished with us and they released 3 the first night and 2 the second night.

We did release a NCDMF taged Drum. They gave me a choice of two rewards.

A $5 check or a hat?????????

That's real pretty work right there Fins. Glad to see your son and dad were having a good time too. Nice work on the citations and tag. The hat is actually a nice cap.
Always relaxing to fish in that area up there. Quiet and full of life and I don't mean the skeeters.

Cedar Island is my Second Home. Got a place just up from the Ferry. Heres a nice un I caught there a couple summers ago. Mom and Dad are heading there this weekend. Wish I could go!
