Cast net around Myrtle Beach

Thinking about running to the beach this week to do some pier and surf fishing. Anyone have any advice to where is a good place to throw a net off the beach, bridge or bank would be? Anywhere from Murrels to N Myrtle. Taking a friend who just Moved to N Myrtle and wanted to teach him how to throw a net and get some bait.

i believe its 52nd street in cherry grove is where we used to go, where the boat ramp is. Also, down by apache there is a creek that can be walked to.

Thanks I plan on trying off the beach itself and the pier and I think he wants to go to Apache so that creek will be a bonus. Maybe Ill check 52nd street before I meet up with him.
