09-22-2011: Capt. Joe's now has a new page on the web-site. "Capt's comments and Events". .Offshore wahoo fishing is still very hot. Most of the wahoo bites have been down to the south around the Rise and the Swansboro Hole area. But there have been good catches around the Big Rock area. There are still good numbers of blackfin tuna and some dolphin being caught as well. Along the beaches the larger Spanish mackerel have showed up around the Beaufort Inlet and the Cape Lookout shoals. Mixed in with the Spanish are bluefish and the false albacore are showing up as well.
