The Wahoo and blackfin tuna bite along with the dolphin was very good yesterday arond the Big Rock area. there were sailfish and dolphin caught in as close as the Big Ten and the 240 Rock area. Spanish mackerel fishing was very good as well aound Beaufort Inlet and the Cape Lookout shoals. Flounder fishing continues to do well around the artificail reefs and back inside Beaufort Inlet. Old drum fishing up in the Pamlico sound is doing very well righ now and should continue fo the next month or so.My appointment to the Marine Fisheries Commission



This past week I was appointed to fill the recreational industry seat on the North Carolina Marine Fisheries Commission that was previously help by Mac Currin. I do my best to make good fisheries decissions that are in the best interest for the resource and fish stocks.
