10-02-2011: Capt. Joe's now has a new page on the web-site. "Capt's comments and Events". . Now that the temperatures have dropped, the inshore fishing is really starting to get started. The false albacore fishing was extremely good yesterday. The fish were bigger and not as picly as they have been in the last few weeks. The fall spot rum is beganning. There ahve been good catches of spots both on the piers and in the sounds. Spanish mackerel and bluefish are doing well around the Beaufort Inlet and up around the Cape Lookouot shoals. The offshore fishing for wahoo continues to be very good. Limits of wahoo have been continually caught from the Big Rock area south to the Swansboro Hole. Bottom fishing for grouper and snapper and triggerfish has been very good too!
