Camping in Francis Marion Park

We are thinking about camping in the park next week - the more basic sites around Honey Hill. Any feedback on the campgrounds, and/or suggestions on sites to see/things to do with the kids (5&8) during the days?

Thanks.

The camping area at Buck Hall is rite on the inter coastal waterway just below Mcllanville with bath rooms and, a good boat landing. If you want something a little more rustic you can check out the Elm wood camp in the Waterhorne section. That camp is close to Hampton plantation and, is in a wilderness area.
