9-23-10 ...... THURSDAY ...... STILL WAITING on the SPOTS! ......

We pushed the report back one day this week in hopes of giving you a better update, but there still isn't a lot of great fishing news today ........... We are seeing a few SPANISH MACKEREL, BLUEFISH, SEA MULLET and POMPANO, but not in the numbers we expect for this time of year. ........... I spoke with MAL BOYETTE yesterday, and he said that the next front heading our way will bring cooler temperatures and scattered rain with NE winds, which will probably start the FALL FISHING in motion! .......... We can only hope that he's right! ............ Congratulations to MIKE GREENE (Gibsonville, NC)--1 lb. 14 oz. SPANISH MACKEREL ........... and EVAN GAIER (Raleigh, NC)--1 lb. 10 oz. SPANISH MACKEREL ............. Don't forget that the 2010 BIP KING MACKEREL TOURNAMENT will start on OCTOBER 4th thru 8th (Monday thru Friday afternoon); the weekend will be open to all for KING FISHING, so there is still time to catch the big one for the 2010 Season! ...........
