[Fishing Report]

11-2-10 ...... TUESDAY ...... COOLERS of FISH! ......

The first day of November was promising; the cooler weather and NE wind has put the move on SEA MULLET, SPOTS, POMPANO, HOGFISH, and a few BLACK and PUPPY DRUM! ............ Not setting the woods on fire, but there is an encouraging amount of fish coming up in the surf and on the end of the pier ................ Night fishing has been relatively productive; PATTY, our pier manager, worked yesterday morning and took two of our pictures of coolers filled early morning. ............ NE and NNW winds will dominate our weather for the next week; cooler, more seasonable temperatures are on the way, and this might be the pattern that will bring the fish out of the rivers and sounds! .............. We are seeing an increase of "SPOT YACHTS" in the waterway just under the bridge; also we can hear the tug boat horns trying to move the ding-batters out of the channel! ............. So things are returning to normal around here ......... It's about time! ........... DRESS WARM! .............. Don't forget that the 2011 BIP SEASON PASSES are now available; beat next year's price increase ($ 25.) by getting yours before we close at the end of NOVEMBER! ............ We will also include a 2011 GATE KEY with your purchase ............. 2010 SEASON PASS holders, please get your 2011 key before we close (to access the pier during the winter months) .............
