11-17-10 ...... WEDNESDAY ...... COOLER weather AHEAD! ......

BLACK DRUM, PUPPY DRUM, SPECKLED TROUT, SEA MULLET, and BLOWFISH are the catches early week; rain yesterday and clearing skies this morning will help bring a cool front and WEST winds. .............. Congratulations to FRED JOHNSON (Kinston, NC)--6 lb. 5 oz. PUPPY DRUM .............. CHRISTOPHER THOMPSON (Hubert, NC)--5 lb. 7 oz. PUPPY DRUM, and JIM, DIANE, SUSAN SKINNER (Clayton, NC)-- COOLER FULL of FISH! ................ We will be closing in 12 more days; it's hard to believe that this season is almost over, and CHRISTMAS is right around the corner! ........... WOW! ............. 64* WATER (thanks Dr. BOGUS! [ ncoif.com ] is perfect for bottom feeders; there should be another run of BLACK & PUPPY DRUM as the weather cools and the water stabilizes from the high winds of the past day or so. .............. We will be staying open 24 hours until November 28th; it has been a success keeping the pier open 24 hours, and we appreciate those who stop by and check us out early morning! ............. Next year, the pier will be open 24 hours starting April 1st, and continue to closing. .............. Don't forget that the 2011 BIP SEASON PASSES are now available; beat next year's price increase ($ 25.) by getting yours before we close at the end of NOVEMBER! ............ We will also include a 2011 GATE KEY with your purchase ............. 2010 SEASON PASS holders, please get your 2011 key before we close (to access the pier during the winter months) ..........
