Jan 25th hunted this morning and we killed 12 mallards 3 wood duck and 2 hoodies

That night Affinity charters won Outstanding charter boat of year, Outstanding youth angler, and outstanding fly rod angler at the Charleston County Trident Tournament

Friday 28th hunted sea ducks and everyone got their limit.

Saturday and Sunday ran flats trips with tons of hungry reds, with a few on fly as well, but water was really cold and reds didnt fight much for their size 10-12 pounds

new years redfish

Jan 1st fished with a group out of Charleston, SC and we hit the flats on the bay boat. Had a group of 5 so we staked out on a flat that was loaded with reds and the guys caught 28 redfish on 3 different flats in about 5 hours, most fish averaged 3-5 pounds but they did boat 5 over 10 pounds.

Jan 2nd Myself and Capt Hoppy took out a group of 5 in 2 boats and we tag teamed the reds. His boat caught 33 reds and mine got 37 reds.

Next 4 day was spent in Columbia working a trade show for my sponsors

Back for a few days in mid January to fish with some regulars 1st trip wind was blowing and sight fishing was a little tuff but we boated 4 nice reds, the next day wind let up and fishing was back on and we boated 18 nice reds, with 2 on the fly.

Back out of town working trade shows at Ellet Brother, CSI and Shot show
