I caught my first Tarpon Thurs., second one Sat., and put my mom on one tonight. It has been a pretty awesome few days. I don't know that there is a "sportier" fish than a Tarpon, with the jumps and overall strength. This all happened up in the Pamlico River. The fish I caught Thurs. was well over 150lbs, and the others were probably 85-100lb range. What a fish.
