Well...tuesday we anchored up in the shoals around Ocracoke and Port....tried the port. side for the first part of the incoming and switched to the ocracoke side after the tide filled in a bit. Both spots we were nestled in the shoal perfectly. Water had cooled off a bit to 58. nice fresh bait...but no luck...just a doggie. Gonna give it a few days to come around and hopefully warm up a bit and get things popping again. I bet a few will be caught today since i decided to surf all day instead. I'll give it a shot again mid week next week. Come on big fella....still haven't caught one yet this year. ...At least the surf has been fantastic....back out now for another session on my secret Pea Island bar
sometimes i sit and think, and sometimes i just sit

thanx for the report, i saw that rick has gotten into a few down there the last couple of weeks so they are around- hope you catchemup!!!! Ill be impatiently waiting for them to turn the corner up here.
Miles....There was a solid bite a week or so ago for a few days. There has only been a few caught the past five days or so... that I have heard of. I bet we see a few good reports from today and the coming few days. But, the surf was just too good today for me to pass up. I will be back out on mon. and wed. of next week to bounce around the shoals again.
