what makes a good deckhand thread

There was a great thread on "what makes a good deckhand". Could someone please help me locate it. I am not a computer guy but do love this site. Best info on the web, thank you to those who maintain and contribute to it.

PS Looking to give somebody a shot as a mate for 3 months to help train and groom an islander who I want to mate for me full time. I could put you up on the island in private apartment with AC and private security. Candidate would prob not get rich on the deal but could enjoy the island diving, ladies, and of course fishing. Would be great experence for a team player looking to get his feet wet, bilengual is a huge plus. PM me
