    1. Holder of 100 ton United States Coast Guard Operator of Uninspected Passenger Vessel license, as well as a United States Coast Guard 25 ton Master Captain’s License. Licensed at age 19, license # 1169814
    2. Experienced in all types of fishing and boating, fresh and saltwater, sport, commercial, private and charter
    3. Experienced in maintenance and upkeep of all types of vessels from 14 feet to 72 feet
    4. Experienced in construction of custom sport fishing boats from 27 feet to 63 feet
    5. Knowledge of shipboard systems (electrical, plumbing, electronics, fuel, oil) General knowledge of diesel mechanics
    6. First aid and CPR certified
    7. Hardworking, honest, very meticulous and willing to learn
    8. Single/passport/non-smoker

    Summary of relative experience

    1. Professional fishing experience includes inshore and offshore waters of North and South Carolina, Florida and the Florida Keys, the Bahamas (Walker’s Cay, Treasure Cay, Marsh Harbor), St. Thomas, U.S.V.I., Mexico(east coast and west, Cozumel, Cabo San Lucas) and 4 full summer seasons in Kona, Hawaii.
    2. Well versed in all levels of blue water fishing including world record fly, light tackle world record (4,6,8,16,20 lb), heavy tackle, dead bait, live bait, bait and switch, skip baits ,kite fishing, proper lure fishing and teasers. Knowledge also includes inshore and near shore experience from flats fishing to wreck and reef fishing
    3. Seminar instructor for Melton International Tackle, Kona, Hawaii,( proper lure fishing, dead bait techniques, bait and switch scenarios, specialized techniques in fishing for all pelagic species).
    4. Experienced in proper exterior maintenance of fiberglass vessels and wood vessels (varnish work, teak)
    5. Extensive experience and knowledge of sport fishing tackle, tackle rigging and vessel outfitting for travel and tournaments.
    6. As wireman/crew, have personally wired over 600 billfish. Including Atlantic and Pacific Blue Marlin, Black Marlin, Atlantic and Pacific Sailfish, White Marlin, Striped Marlin, Broadbill Swordfish and Short bill Spearfish. Largest Blue Marlin weighed include: 911lbs., 880lbs., 862 lbs., 801lbs.
    7. Major tournament wins and places in both the Atlantic and Pacific oceans

    My current position as full-time captain of a 2008, privately owned, 63 foot, Custom Carolina sport fishermen is no longer due to obvious economic reasons.
