The Fisheries Leadership & Sustainability Forum (FLSF) is a partnership of the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions and the Nicholas School of the Environment and Earth Sciences at Duke University, the Center for Ocean Solutions managed by the Woods Institute for the Environment at Stanford University, and Environmental Defense Fund, Incorporated (EDF).

FLSF provides continuing education, professional development opportunities and ongoing support for Regional Fisheries Management Council members. Our programs are intended to enhance managers understanding of fisheries and ocean science, economics and policy and broaden their leadership skills. We accomplish this by hosting forums and workshops, and providing ongoing support tools on current topics that council members are facing.
