Palmer Johnson Power Systems has a great opportunity for a talented, enthusiastic Outside Sales Representative to develop and grow business in the Southern California industrial powertrain market.

The position
The primary responsibility is to provide innovative solutions to our customers resulting in the development and growth of customer accounts.


Candidates should have:

• Professional accomplishments that demonstrate the initiative to successfully develop and pursue new sales opportunities

• Documented ability to creatively expand and maintain existing customer relationships

• 2 – 5 years direct sales experience in end user/commercial sales

• Proven success working with OEM partners and support systems

• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

• Financial acumen and the ability to develop sound and creative business plans

• Mechanical aptitude

• Prior experience in industrial products

• Willingness to travel and a safe driving record

• An associates or bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or a related field is not required but would be an asset we would value
