FYI

Take this with a grain of salt my man. You haven't painted the best picture of yourself on this board. There are other ways to find out how much money you should make. I know that you need to make a living and you want to get paid what you're worth, just be more PC about it. Whether it was intentional or not you have now thrown 2 people under the bus in this one thread. There are a lot of very good fishermen that are looking for rides right now. My advice to you is "keep your eyes open and mouth shut" That way you won't miss out on learning anything. I'm sure you're a great guy and a hell of a mate, don't write anything else on here that would make people think differently.

Start a new thread so captains and owners don't read what was said in this one.

You're not taking my advice from my first post on this thread. Trust me on this one. Captains read this stuff and right now there are a lot of very good people looking for rides. You can teach someone to rig a ballyhoo on a circle hook, catch bait, clean a boat and be organized with tackle.

You have a chance to do what everyone sitting in an office reading this wants to do. Fishing for a living is a privilege not a right.

Paying your dues and learning by being on the water = captaining a rig of your own some day.

Bitching about pay and not getting along with crew = no job.

Start a new thread and stop bumping this one to the top. Hopefully it will get buried at the bottom and never resurface.

Just my $.02 at 20 years old full of piss and vinegar. The advice given by Teddy is very sound. Take it. This from someone 3x your age and who has been around the block more than once. You can have a great future just don't let your "alligator mouth override your humming bird ass", there will always be someone that is bigger, smarter, and more experienced. Hold back your youthful bravado and watch listen and learn. Because some day you will be that bigger, smarter, and more experienced. That day just has not gotten here yet. But it will, you just need some patience
Good luck

You know I got your messages and I sent you a PM. But I think that all the others on this site need to see who or what they were trying to help out. By the way learn how to use spell check.
