I am a 27 years old . I love meeting new people and just fishing in general. I am always looking to learn new techniques and learn new places.
I have been fishing the waters in Hatteras since I was old enough to pick up a rod. I have fish professionally the last 4 year. I really enjoy marlin fishing and have experience with circle hooks, but I enjoy any action I can get. I am a very open minded person and pick up on new things fairly easy. I especially enjoy dragging a dregde behing the boat. I have seen how productive they can be with drawing fish to the boat and as a direct result getting multiple hook ups . Very eager to do anything around fishing and with boats.
I have worked with the Top Hook, Hattitude, Fish Hog, Ol Salt, , and West Wind
I have fished some local tournaments here and placed in a few. I love the intensity of a tournament.
I have also have commercial fishing experience.

damn its been since August since I last rigged a Ballyhoo. I sure do miss those little suckers at this point, not to mention everything else that goes along with it. I miss rubbing on a boat even, thats how long it has been for me.

Well I had the opportunity to get offshore yesterday for the first time in a long time. Fished day 1 of the Hatteras Village Offshore Open. There were only a handful of fish seen, but we were right where they were. Due to the way the water has been this year it was a pretty long run with only minimal expectations. We had 6 bites all day dragging plugs. A couple nice gaffers with one mystery bite, judging by the chaff on the leader probably was him. Anyway at 14:55 I looked over and said to my buddies, "Wouldn't it suck if one came in and didn't eat until lines out." Well at 15:00 they called lines out, so we started clearing the lines. All of the sudden there she was on the left short rigger. My buddy made 2 cranks and we were hooked up. We had the release in around 6 minutes, she was around 275 or so. It was fun on the leader, being that she was still pretty damn green. Just a shame she didn't come up and eat 10 seconds before she did. Either way it was nice to get out there and get one. I miss it so much, still looking for any good opportunities if there are any. Of course this day in age I am one of the many that are.
