Just looking for a shot...

Hello, my name is Kyle Hughes. I am 22 years old, and a recent UNCW graduate with a degree in marine biology. I am currently a part – time inshore fishing guide based out of Ocean Isle Beach, NC. I grew up in rural southeastern NC, getting my first job on a tobacco farm at the age of 9 or 10 (Included to emphasize that I am very willing to work hard and am no stranger to it.) Fortunately, I was able to graduate to the cockpit of a charter boat at the age of 14, and been involved with charter fishing ever since. I have operated an inshore charter business for the last 4 years as Capt./Owner. While I love this type of fishing and have been very successful with it, my passion is still bluewater fishing, with billfishing being especially addicting to me. I am very thankful to have been blessed with many opportunities within the fishing world and have been able to experience things that many people will never be able to. I have gained a great deal of experience and knowledge from each opportunity, and would love to be able gain as much experience in the big game fishing as I possibly can.

I am looking for any opportunity that will allow me to pursue my passion, and in the process become a better fisherman. I am willing to become a part of virtually any operation, either charter or private, as long as it allows me to gain experience and pursue my dream. I would also be interesting in any part time position involving the maintenance of a sportfishing boat, or as a part time tournament mate. Essentially, I am extremely motivated and up for anything that will continue to allow me to do what I love.

A little more about me:

If you have taken time to read all of this, thank you very much for your time.
