Info on living/working in costa rica needed!!!

My friend and I, both recent college grads, are considering moving to costa rica to work for the summer. I was wondering if anyone had any experience working/living in costa rica and if they could give me some advice as to the type of jobs available to xpats and where the best areas to live along the coast are. I have considerable boating experience and live to fish offshore. I was hoping to maybe work at a marina/resort or tour company of some sort. Any ideas? Of course I would love a job on a charter boat doing just about anything but i suspect my lack of rigging experience would prevent me from a mate job. I would do just about anything to get on a boat down there though. Anyway, if anyone could give me any sort of help about this stuff i would be greatly appreciative.
