Seeking: Employment aboard a private yacht, sportfish, or charter boat in parts of Central America, South America, Mexico, Pacific Islands, Caribbean, or parts of the U.S. like Hawaii, Florida or California.

Personal Info: 36 yrs old, non smoker, non drug user, non alcoholic. Born and raised in San Diego, California. Very responsible, extremely outgoing, funny with a great sense of humor, great with customers/ clients, great with running a crew or employees, work great under pressure, always on time, motivated to learn new things, very flexible and can travel.

Previously owned and operated a fishing charter business “CR Gamefish Sportfishing” in Tamarindo, Costa Rica. Captain and Fishing Guide for about 8 years in northwest Costa Rica. Served as Captain aboard other fishing charter boats in Tamarindo on the side. Currently working with “ArtMarina” in the Galapagos Islands running charter boats and acting as a fishing guide. 20 years experience running personal boats Inshore and Offshore throughout southern California, parts of Mexico, Ecuador, Galapagos Islands, and Costa Rica. Very familiar with handling boats in all sea conditions and have captained boats up to 54ft.

Business Knowledge: Have extensive knowledge about running a sportfishing charter operation and duties such as: employee management, book keeping, fish records, clients list, advertisement, customer relations, website upkeep, designing brochures and logos, ordering supplies, everyday maintenance on boat(s), posting fish reports, and rigging tackle and fishing gear.

Fishing Experience: Specialize in fishing for most types of billfish like: Black Marlin, Blue Marlin, Striped Marlin, & Sailfish. Very fine-tuned with “Bait & Switch” techniques, and catching billfish on Fly Gear. Personally have hundreds of billfish under my belt and boated a few “Grand Slams” on billfish. Brought a few record size Blue & Black Marlin in the 600-800lb Class to the boat, and many in the 400-500lb size. Also experienced in catching other types of game fish like: Wahoo, Mahi-Mahi, Giant Yellowfin Tuna, Roosterfish, and more…


Highly experienced in hooking multiple billfish at one time. Driven to excel under pressure, can handle multi-tasking and processing many obstacles when it comes to operating a boat and business.

Operate the boats: “Andale” a 35ft. Bertram, “Coyote II” a 34ft. Custom Express, and “Magic” a 31ft. Palm Beach Custom under Artmarina.
