Looking for an experienced capt. to work with my mate who has been onboard for the past 3 seasons. We operate an inpsected vessel for up to 28 + crew. We are a higher end charter operation ( by that I mean we do not do the "headboat" walk on type charters. all our charters are private bookings.) operating out of the Wentworth By The Sea Marina, a 5 star resort. 50% of our bookings are corporate team building type of charters fishing for Cod & Haddock or Bass and Blues. The balance of our trips are friends/groups or batchelor parties again fishing for Cod, Haddock, Bass, Blues or Sharks. The boat also does evening harbor cruises and buriels at sea. From the above description you can see we are looking for an individual that loves to fish and has capt. experience, but also MUST be personable and able to work closely with the customers and keep them entertained. This will be our 17 season, I have always run the boat. Due to commitments to another business we have I am not going to be able to be onboard for the next several seasons and am looking for an individual who is willing to work with our mate/ captain, he holds his 50 ton masters and knows the boat as well as I do.

When we are not booked for trips I am ok with the boat fishing for Giant Bluefin Tuna, we also do a few tournaments each year.

A little about the boat. "Island Bound" is a custom built Chesapeake Boats 48' with twin 660 hp Cummins QSM power and cruise around 20+ comfortable. We are sponsored by Ugly Stik, Penn, Cajun Red, Raymarine, Shakespeare plus a few others. The boat is loaded with electronics and is constantly being updated.

If you are going to be coming from out of state accomodations are plentiful and if you have a girl that needs work, Portsmouth has lots of opportunities for summer work.
