    WTB or WTT Pilot House

Guys, I'm looking to buy or looking to trade a t-top for a Centerconsole style pilot house. If anyone knows someone looking to get rid of one or looking to trade one for a t-top I would appriciate it.
Price for the top is $1000 obo.
The first two pictures are of what I want and the final picture is the t-top I am looking to trade.

There is a guy in Brewster who recently (last couple of years) rebuilt a 1975 HiLiner 222 with a doghouse a lot like that. The boat was posted for sale on CSC so you may have seen it while finding your boat.

My recollection is he built the house from scratch. Maybe reach out to him and see if you can work something out, or, if you are handy and he has some templates, it may be be a good rest of the winter project.

A quick search found the boat listed for sale on some sites and his listing on CSC

Yeah, he was actually interested in my 25' SeaCraft before it sank. I asked him but it was kind of a dead end lead. I may look him up again.

    Dan,
Nauset Marine built that house I think? You might check with David Deschanps in the boat builiding dept. That picture you showed is one of my old 1st mate's boat, might be for sale soon because he is looking at a 31' Ocean Master. I will check with him and see if he has any of those dog houses laying around. Capt. Eric

Thanks Eric. I figured I would see if anyone knew about any already built before I went out and tried to build one myself.

    Dan-

Try Romarine in Bristol RI - they make a really nice aftermarker Doghouse. They may have one around the yard.

The first one is definitely a Nauset (same as mine), 2nd pic is a real looker with a little more forward rake. Like Jay said, Romarine is a good place to look for a doghouse as well as northcoast but both are not forward slant like your pics. Also try alcar in welfleet (kind of pricy, but may be reasonable without windows that open etc). Lastly, was talking to a comm bass guy with a really sharp rebuilt Angler with a doghouse....he had his house made by a guy on main st in Falmouth that also restores cars. I know it's not a lot of info but the house that guy built was sweet. Keep your eyes on craigslist as well.....

PS-make sure that whatever you get as at least 18" or so from the wheel to the rear of the sides so you stay nice and protected from the weather at all times

Thank you, all good information. I might have to take a ride to the Cape soon and drive around looking. Also thinking of building my own. Thanks.
